Only in America is Dominic Holland’s first novel. Like many readers, you might be thinking that it would make a great rom-com movie. Ah… a sigh because it has been sold as such on numerous occasions but never found the favourable circumstances for it to happen. A silver cloud, however, being that Holland’s failures at cracking Hollywood are in stark contrast to his son, Tom, and this arc forms the spine of his memoir, Eclipsed.
The sequel novel to Only in America is called Made in England. Milly and Jonson on another caper, 20 years on.
It is available on this website and Amazon.
