Having Tom Holland as my first born is many things and clearly presents many upsides.
But some downsides also…
One of these being a disconnect between me and the bulk of people kind enough to follow me on social media.
Number of followers is the metric of modern success – and after numbers comes engagement and herein lies the problem when my social media ‘lady’ explains that most of my followers are female, between 16 and 25 and many of whom have never heard of the UK and are unlikely to be interested in the meanderings and witterings of a man old enough to be their grandad.
I am unclear what I can do about this, if anything, so I might as well continue on in a vein I am comfortable with then…
