The inside track on the Monte Carlo GP

Monte Carlo used to be on my regular roster of gigs. At Nice airport I used to enjoy the airport PA announcements…

“Mr Dominic Holland, please report to the helicopter transit area…”

And yes, on occasion I might have dawdled so that I could hear such announcements being repeated. Such gigs will be ongoing, only using younger, more hip and presumably funnier comedians which is the way of all careers I suppose and the circle of life.

Monte Carlo is known as the playground of the rich and famous. With a land area of just over 2 square km, it is the densest sovereign state on earth, and I imagine perhaps the richest people will stride our world.

To put it vulgarly, the place stinks of cash and largesse.
