Last week’s blog focussed on my advancing years, and I continue in this varicose vein here now.
You might recall that I swerved the paddle tennis match last week in New York – but it transpired that the Bero investor chap in question was not to be denied his time across the net from me.
For our last day in NY, Logan (let’s give the guy his name already) booked three courts this time – nullifying my excuse that I didn’t wish to take up a limited spot to play.
Oh, and he also announced that he had invited along a friend of his to play with us. In fact, he had flown this ‘friend’ in especially from Miami for this match with Team Holland, so I could hardly refuse.
Juan Martin Diaz, anyone?
No, me neither.
