Given how much dogs can cost, I shouldn’t really complain. A friend of mine paid £3,000 for his ‘Bruno’, a cocker spaniel making our beloved Tessa a mere snip at £600.
And to think that Rosie cost us nada!
Well…
I had been told that dog rescue charities welcome donations, but when Battersea Dogs Home, delivered a terrified little girl to her new home, they refused the cash I had for them.
Not that Rosie has been cost free.
