Sorry that I have missed a couple of days – my Samsung phone is apparently ‘full’ and is helpfully suggesting that I delete some items – only I can’t! I can’t delete anything from my ****ing phone because as you know, there is a technological conspiracy against DH.
This is a long-winded way of saying that I have not been able to take a photo of my shrinking belly over the last two days – but I will use my wife’s phone this evening – and in the meantime – take it from me – I am five pounds lighter and I had a curry last night with two old mates and drank only water!
I can imagine your applause now…
On another matter of technology – my novel Only in America has yesterday and today sold what it normally sells in a full month. I have no idea why. Was it reviewed somewhere? Has someone with lots of mates said something? Tech people might know but I am in the dark.
But I am very grateful nonetheless to technology – which is such a liberating thing. It is here to stay and I wish that I could catch up with it.
