A busy day in Edinburgh with Nikki, Sam, Paddy and Tess – dodging the rain and making final preps for my show Eclipsed starting tomorrow at the Voodoo Rooms, Ballroom.
Okay, for the first time in over a decade, I am back in Edinburgh and about to start my run with my new show, Eclipsed.
Over the last couple of nights, I have done my last previews of Eclipsed and tomorrow head north to Scotland’s first city.
Many of you will know that I have long supported the Anthony Nolan Charity – the largest register of bone marrow tissue in the UK – a vital chance of life for people with blood cancer.
Just to say that my venue in Edinburgh is over 18s only. A shame because my show is suitable for under 8’s – but the venue’s licence only allows adults only.
Roses for Lilly – is the name of the film. Written by Harry with him directing also. Featuring Sam and Paddy Holland with Tom Holland in attendance lending some advice and support. Nikki Holland on stills photography.
We all like a moan, right?
Traffic. Weather. Taxes. Can’t park. No signal. No seat. Not enough whatever…
And it’s not a revelation that we are all immediately better off by being more thankful. Not wanting to sound preachy but mull on this for a moment – being more thankful for our lot is a good idea.
All very excited chez Holland.
Sam is due back from Peru today and tomorrow we will be six again for the launch of The Brothers Trust.
Been asked a few times to be interviewed with Tom – and have always said no – for different reasons but chiefly because I’m conscious of appearing opportunistic.
Below is an excerpt from my book Eclipsed – and why I reproduce it now becomes obvious to any people who read this full post. It’s not very long and it’s funny, trust me. And its laughs on me…
