Met a young Asian guy the other day and we got chatting. Late 20’s, he has a wife, three kids and a first class law degree. Nicely set up then?
A dog walk in the park this morning in the searing heat – we seek out the shade, clinging to the edge of the park and the cover of the tree-line while Tess makes for the brook and adds fish to the long list of animals that she is unable to catch.
I proudly showed Paddy around the place. The playground where I played football – in my head, a dominant midfield general, in reality, a player always picked towards the end!
Drove to Nottingham last night for a preview of my show, Eclipsed – which with two weeks to go – is coming along very well.
I did it last week for the second time and more than a decade since my debut. My opening line explained this and then I added, ‘I must have done really well to get booked back so soon.’
